This is important information for cyclists who have entered a 2017 Knysna Cycle Tour event.
Registration, Expo & Prize-giving venue: Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival Grounds, Waterfront Drive
Registration & prize-giving will be at the following times:
Registration: Friday, 7 July from 13:00 – 20:00
Prize-giving: Saturday, 8 July at 14:00
Registration: Friday, 7 July from 13:00 – 20:00 | Saturday, 8 July from 10:00 – 15:00
Prize-giving: Sunday, 9 July at 14:00
SPUR Children’s Fun Ride:
Registration: Friday, 7 July, 13:00 – 20:00 | Saturday, 8 July, 10:00 – 14:00.
Late registration at the start venue on the field: Sunday, 9 July, 07:30 – 08:30
Forest Family Dam Ride:
Registration: Friday, 7 July, 13:00 – 20:00 | Saturday, 8 July, 10:00 – 15:00.
Late Registration: Sunday, 9 July, 07:30 – 08:30
In the event of not being able to be at registration by cut-off time, you can arrange for someone to collect your race pack by giving them permission in the form of a letter, email or sms, which they must then produce at registration.
If you are not present at prize-giving, you will not be eligible for any lucky draw prizes.
Water restrictions in Knysna:
Please remember that Knysna is a water scarce town, so it is vital for visitors and residents to be water wise. There are Level 3 Water Restrictions in place to ensure the security of water for all users.
Important information re racing chips
All cyclists will receive their RFID transponders at registration, attached to their race numbers. These should be secured to your handle bars.
Remember: No chip, no time!

Please make use of mySOS, a free mobile app that allows users to contact emergency service providers at the touch of a button. When a user activates an emergency through mySOS the details of the user as well as the location of the incident is sent to the provider enabling a much quicker and more accurate response.
